250grams(1 cup) tomato paste(can use tomato puree)
½tablespoonhoney(adjustable to taste)
1½tablespoonapple cider vinegar
½teaspoonpaprika(smoked or not smoked)
1teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoondried parsley
1pinchof ground cloves
salt to taste
Instructions
In a medium size bowl mix all your ingredients, taste and adjust sugar/salt levels to taste.
You can strain your ketchup to get a glossier look or just enjoy it as is! Store your healthy substitute for ketchup in a glass just in the fridge for up to 1 month.

Notes
– if you want your ketchup less thick then just add some water to get the desired consistency– adjust the ketchup flavor by adding more sugar to it– add some BBQ sauce for an extra flavor– you can make fermented ketchup by adding a few tablespoons of brine from fermented veggies like pickles or sour kraut!
